What’s the distribution of funds from Jersey sales? How much goes to the player, team, and league?

Jerseys are a licensed NFL product that is licensed by Players Inc., an extension of NFLPA who handles licensing and marketing of NFL merchandise & products that involves more than 6 players.
Jersey sales are kept at the team level when bought at the stadium or on official team website. Any jersey sales at any other location are split evenly among teams as part of licensing revenue.
Players get a yearly check for licensing but it is a small cut (a few grand).
This is in contention for question of the week and a $5 gift card to Sports Authority

Ask me anything about the NFL, player contracts, and NFL current events
